Doula Services

I am a very proud mother of two adult sons. I was called to become a Doula because, although I had wonderful birth experiences, I knew that they could have been better. I wish that I had been a better advocate for myself, when I saw that I was being pulled away from my birth plan, and given a delivery method that I did not agree to. 

My job as a Birth Doula is to listen to my clients throughout the last few months of pregnancy, understand what their birth plan is, provide them with information, and inform them of their rights, so that they can have the power to advocate for themselves. 

I create space for the birthing mother at the time of her labor and deliver. Provide her with compassion and care, meet her where she is, gently remind her of her birthing plan, and support her in any way that she needs as she goes through this beautiful and miraculous time in her life.

A mother devotes her entire life to her children, I am here to support and guide her into the first stage of her role.

PRICING:

• Initial visit: A meet and great session to answer your questions and to get to know each other - 45-60 minutes

COST: COMPLIMENTARY

• Two (2) Prenatal visits to create a birth plan, discuss labor comfort measures, helpful handouts - 2-4 hours
• 24-Hour On-Call services from 36 weeks to birth
• Birth-day: Supporting you as you advocate for yourself, assist with comfort measures, keep you informed about procedures
• Postpartum visit
• Four (4) In-home personal prenatal yoga sessions
